What is a Hackathon? A hackathon is a contest that introduces a problem to students, teachers and developers and allows their creativity to solve this problem using Design Thinking and STEAM. This year our theme is using the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The week prior to the event, we will host various workshops to learn some technical skills such as hackathon 101, coding, web development, game design and design thinking, which you can apply when you come to the event. To get started you will reseach problems within the SDG goals and decide as a team which one to focus on and solve for.
